The Wandle Ringers were formed in 1986, and rang as the South Norwood Belles until 1988, when a change of rehearsal venue and the introduction of gentlemen necessitated a change of name! The team play a five octave, 61 bell set of Whitechapel handbells, plus duplicates, and five octaves of Malmark handchimes.

The team has played at many prestigious venues, including St Margaret’s, Westminster; Founders’ Hall in London; Kensington Palace, Southwark Cathedral, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Westminster Hall as well as local venues including Fairfield Halls.
